Tentative list of places to be visited:
-Prague;
Bialistock; Tikotchin; Lopochova Forest—mass grave of entire Jewish
communuity of Tikotchin; Treblinka, Lublin; Maidanek, Yzbitsa,
Tarnov, Krakow; the Rama shul; Schindler’s factory, Birkenau,
Auschwitz; Vigoda Forest, Chelmano, Radgest—train station from the
war period, from where the trains left for the death camps; Kiltza
(site of pogrom after World War II). Shabbat in the new Jewish
community of Lodz; the Posnansky palace; Petrakov, Pschicha and
Warsaw. Possibility of a personalized one day trip to the city of
your family’s origins. English speaking (Dati) Jewish tour guide in
Poland.
-Israel—a
different itinerary than our previous trips—including military base
and briefings, Shabbat in Jerusalem; Maarat Hamachpela and Chevron;
off-the-beaten path places to be determined (requests happily
