Daily Shacharit minyan held Monday through Friday mornings at 6:30 a.m. and Sundays at 7:30 a.m.  Gemara Class is held every Sunday morning at 6:45 a.m.  Evening services held Sunday through Thursday evenings are at 7:50 p.m. this week.

 

*** POLAND AND ISRAEL TRIP ***

·    Tentative Dates:  June 21 – July 5, 2009  -  Tentative list of places to be visited:

      -Prague; Bialistock;  Tikotchin; Lopochova Forest—mass grave of entire Jewish communuity of Tikotchin; Treblinka, Lublin; Maidanek,  Yzbitsa, Tarnov, Krakow; the Rama shul; Schindler’s factory, Birkenau,  Auschwitz; Vigoda Forest, Chelmano, Radgest—train station from the war period, from where the trains left for the death camps; Kiltza (site of pogrom after World War II).   Shabbat in the new Jewish community of Lodz; the Posnansky palace; Petrakov, Pschicha and Warsaw.  Possibility of a personalized one day trip to the city of your family’s origins.  English speaking (Dati) Jewish tour guide in Poland.

      -Israel—a different itinerary than our previous trips—including military base and briefings,  Shabbat in Jerusalem; Maarat Hamachpela and Chevron;  off-the-beaten path places to be determined (requests happily received). Dati Tour guide; air conditioned buses. Delicious food and first class accommodations.

   If you are interested, please speak with Rabbi Zlatin. More details and pricing will be forthcoming over the next few weeks. But mark the dates on your calendar.

·    Shabbat, September 6th; David Roth will be called to the bima to become a Bar Mitzvah.  Roberta and Allen Roth will sponsor a Kiddush luncheon following services in honor of their simcha.
